II. Press Release of Interests: Art, Economics, Politics, et “all things considered”

1. LA Times – Jessica Garrison: Will confusion cause Prop. 8 problems?

For Californian voters, I would like to call your attention to today’s article:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2008/10/speaking-out-re.html

To the supporters and opponents, Prop. 8 is about Love, Hate, Right, Discrimination, Education, Religion, …Vocation... To me, Prop. 8 is just about a legal “Definition of Marriage”. Per my understanding (I was confused as well):

Vote YES – means that legally, “Marriage is between a Man and a Woman”

Vote NO – means that legally, “Marriage is between two Human Beings”

You can find thousands of opinions regarding Proposition 8. I am quoting this opinion since I read …between the lines … that this person is “neutral” about the issue. In another word, I can’t tell his vote is “YES” or “NO”:

“Gay couples deserve the same right to be just as miserable as heterosexual couples!”

So VOTE as you mean it!

your loving heart.

Program Content:

Wednesday, October 22, 2008 – The Musical Voyage

…Our music is love. It whispers into our ears, to us, and to those who lost in the first love, the amorous words. It tempts us, and the lovers, to seek for an ardent passion. It walks side by side, together with us, and with the couples that are lovers and friends, for life, for eternity, forever.

And I, while together with you scattering the musical notes into the human land, I whispered into your ears this sweetest secret: “During this musical voyage, I knew of love. My Love, I love you in every single musical note (translated by Que Nghi)
